Hi, I’m
Myles.
I shoot what matters, and I write like someone’s going to read it.
The short
version
I studied journalism, public relations and marketing at UMass Amherst — a B.A. in Journalism & Public Relations with a business minor — and graduated in 2024. Since then I’ve been at National Grid as Program Manager for Colleague Communications & Culture, promoted in 2026, where the work picked up three Golds and a Bronze at the 2026 Internal Communications & Engagement Awards in London and two IoIC shortlists.
Before that: lead content producer for the Commonwealth Honors College, a producer-editor commission of seven films for the UMass Foundation, and a summer shooting and editing playoff content for the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. Alongside all of it I’ve been photographing for more than five years — portraits, athletics, events and the moments in between. Three hundred-plus sessions in, the thing I still like most is the moment someone stops performing and just looks like themselves.
Outside work I sit on the board of the American Association of Blacks in Energy’s Greater Boston chapter as Communications Chair, and I’m Creative Director at Survivors Know.

How I
work
Direction, not guesswork
Most people say they’re bad at having their photo taken. They’re not; they’ve never been directed. I tell you where to stand and when it’s working.
Written to be read
Internal comms only counts if people read it. I write for the colleague on a phone between shifts, not for the approval chain.
One accountable person
Brief, script, shoot, edit, ship. Fewer handoffs means faster work and one name on it.
Honest turnarounds
Galleries in 48 hours. Replies within 24. If something slips, you hear it from me first.
